In Oct. 16, 2013 NJ special election for US Senate seat between Tea Party Republican Steve Lonegan and Democrat Cory Booker, Booker won, but Tea Party Republican Steve Lonegan polled 4% better than mega-financed Mitt Romney in 2012:
